It was supposed to rain on the day of this outdoor Unicorn party for an adorable 5 year old girl. But it didn’t! And I am so glad. Because her mom knows how to create an amazing party by paying attention to each detail. This is the 4th party I have photographed for this client and each one has been beautiful and, more importantly, fun! This party even had a live unicorn, which you will have to scroll down to see!

This cake by Delicately Delicious in Cedarburg, WI (@delicatelydelicious) was not only gorgeous, but SO GOOD! I was sent home with some extra cake and I may or may not have eaten one and a half slices of it. Half because I left some for my older daughterš¤£.

All right, so what about that unicorn that came from Patch 22 in Wadsworth, Illinois (Patch22.biz)? Well…it was actually a pony with a stuffed unicorn horn strapped to it’s head. But don’t tell anyone!
I love photographing birthday parties because everyone is there to have fun. I love that a child is being celebrated by their friends and family for just being themselves. And look at how much fun the birthday girl’s friends had!
